Are you looking for a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, with plenty of privacy and good basic amenities? Come to the Achterhoek, to our cozy log cabin near Groenlo, Winterswijk, and Eibergen. The log cabin is fairly compact but offers many amenities, such as a completely renovated shower and toilet area, one double pull-out bed, central heating, and a spacious porch. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric stovetop, hot water, a kettle, and a coffee maker. By the water next to the log cabin, you can relax on a private dock and enjoy the natural surroundings. The log cabin accommodates two people.
Nature and surroundings
There’s already plenty to see on the grounds. Our beautiful aviary is home to a peacock, golden pheasants, chickens, and pigeons, among others. The nature pond is home to many waterfowl, and there are plenty of fish, both large and small, swimming in it. Carp fishing is prohibited. However, it is possible to fish for other species. This can be arranged by prior arrangement and for a fee. The lake borders the Leemputten Nature Park. Here you can enjoy a lovely walk or rent a pedal boat. Keine große kretik war alles so wie es sein sollte.Als verbesserungsvorschlag vlt einen kleinen Flachen fernseher irgendwo hinhängen.für schlechte Wetter Tage oder Abende z.b. für Frau oder Kind wenn Vater oder Mann am Wasser z.b. Angeld.Sonst nichts zu beanstanden.Alles sehr gut gewesen.Nur weiter so.was uns sehr gefallen hat die Frejndlichkeit erreichbarkeit und hilfsberreitschaft.Super macht weiter so.
Eins vorweg,alle Negativen bewertungen in der vergangenheit.Vergesst sie das am besten sofort ist alles Quatsch.Es war Sauber,Moderne Sanitäranlagen und auch Sauber.Alles vor Ort fürs Essen Kochen und auch ausstattung besteckt und ect. Sehr wichtig Mücken zeug davon sind genügend vorhanden.Sonst einfach nur wunderschön beim Sonnenaufgang zum himmel schauen oder übers Wasser einfach Herlich seinen Morgenkaffe bei so einer Aussicht zu genissen.Zum endspannen und erholen perfekt.Heizung funktioniert tadellos und hrizt auch richtig gut.Für alle die mal eine auszeit mögen,perfekt um abzuschalten.Ruhige Wald lage und für Angler sehr optimal besser als Zelten.Fische sehr viele vorhanden und auch große von bis zu ein Meter bis ein Meter zwanzieg.Last euch so eine möglichkeit nicht endgehen.vorallem bei so einem Humanen preis.Bekommt ihr niergend wo.Liebe grüße an den Gadtgeber Tobi.

Ondanks de prachtige lokatie zijn we een dag eerder naar huis gegaan. Wij hebben veel last gehad van muizen. Zij zaten tussen het plafond en onder het bed. Ook was het huisje niet schoon. De terrassen aan het water zijn ook toe aan een schoonmaakbeurt en overwoekerd door groen. De tuin zou er door een flinke snoeibeurt veel beter uit zien. Ook zou je dan een veel beter uitzicht vanuit het huisje over het water hebben. Het sanitair was goed en de verwarming werkt prima. De verhouding prijs/kwaliteit laat wat ons betreft te wensen over.

Upon arrival, the cabin was dirty, so we had to clean it ourselves: the refrigerator was dirty, the microwave was dirty, there were mouse droppings, the toilet brush and pedal bin weren’t clean, the pillows didn’t smell fresh, there was a pot lid under the sink that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, etc. Also, you shouldn’t be afraid of mice or find them disgusting, and you should store everything securely so they can’t get to it. They can be a nuisance at night. We’re used to a lot, but this was really bad—especially since you have to pay cleaning fees. We were disappointed and went home early. The owner promised to improve things, but we’ve seen these same complaints in reviews and the guestbook.
We contacted the owner, and in hindsight, we agreed to a meager compensation (at our insistence).

Bij aankomst was de blokhut vies en zijn wij zelf gaan soppen: koelkast was vies magnetron was vies, muizenkeutels, wc borstel en pedaal emmer niet schoon, kussens vonden wij niet fris, pannendeksel onder aanrecht waar al lang niet schoongemaakt was etc. Verder moet je niet bang/vies zijn voor muizen en alles goed opbergen zodat ze er niet bij kunnen. In de nacht zijn ze storend. We zijn echt wel wat gewend maar dit was ernstig zeker omdat je schoonmaakkosten moet betalen. Wel zijn teleurgesteld eerder naar huis gegaan. Eigenaar heeft beterschap beloofd alleen lezen wij in recensies en het gadtenboekje deze klachten terug.
We hebben contact gehad met eigenaar en achteraf gezien zijn we met een schamele tegemoetkoming (op ons aandringen) akkoord gegaan.
