Our room is 24m2, has a spacious double bed (on request 2 separate comforters), a separate sitting area and a private bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A Nespresso machine with cups is also available in your room. Both the sleeping area and the sitting area have double doors opening onto your private terrace overlooking the Haaksbergerveen. There are 3 chickens scurrying about the property providing fresh eggs every day. If you would like to have dinner with us, we will gladly prepare a vegetarian 2-course menu for you (please let us know a few days in advance). As much as possible we use products from our vegetable garden and orchard. Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free eater, we can cater for all tastes. Breakfast and dinner are served in the conservatory.

Our house is the only house on a cul-de-sac in the hamlet of Siberia. The area owes that name to the sweltering heat, the icy cold, the gusting wind and a bog landscape with bogs and birches. In summer there are vipers on the trails, and it is a hotspot for birdwatchers. The house is located on the Migratory Bird Trail and the Flamingo Route (bicycle route). The Haaksbergerveen borders the Lankheterbos and the Buurserzand, covering a large area with many landscape types. The Buurserbeek meanders through a rolling landscape with old ash trees and drives the centuries-old Oostendorper watermill. You can spend hours walking, cycling, mountain biking (plotted route of more than 50 kilometers) or horseback riding here. Often on unpaved paths. In the vicinity are beautiful areas such as the Woold near Winterswijk, the Springendal near Ootmarsum or the Salland Ridge.
