The nature house is part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, a military defense line from the nineteenth century. The safe place of the soldiers of yesteryear is now a catering establishment with a relaxed atmosphere where you can retreat for a while. Ideal for a weekend getaway with family and friends. You can also spend a carefree weekend here. By renting sheds D, E and F together as one group accommodation, there is enough space to keep distance with 25 people from different households. If your party includes people from sustainable households, you can accommodate up to 40 people, depending on the composition of the group (the number of sustainable households, number of people per household and number of individual guests). The accommodation is furnished according to central government guidelines and cleaning products and disinfectant gels are provided.

The Fort Island is a green oasis of tranquility 15 minutes by bike from the Dom, on the outskirts of Utrecht. Fifteen minutes in the other direction are the Maarsseveense Plassen and along the Vecht are beautiful places to visit, such as Oud Zuilen, Maarssen, Breukelen and Loosdrecht. So ideal for a carefree weekend away. On the grounds is a climbing apparatus with slide for the little ones, but also enough space to kick a ball around. Don't forget to visit the hanging pigs and chickens in the animal pasture.
