This nature house Cottage (28 m2) is situated in a more remote part of Madeira on the far west side of the island. The cottage was completely refurbished to a very high standard in 2019. It is fully self contained with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and small terrace where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Included in the rental are also the swimming pool and the lower garden area.

This location certainly is in the middle of a lovely rugged landscape, surrounded by rolling hills and a view across the Atlantic Ocean. Here you will only hear the sound of birds singing. There are no planes, traffic nor tourists to interrupt the tranquillity of this location. Particularly impressive are the number of beautiful sunsets which you can witness nearly every day from the end of the garden. There are many places where you can go walking, especially the Levadas which offer the chance to see some lovely parts of the island. Sandy beaches on Madeira are few and far between but there are a few and they are worth a visit. Wherever you go on Madeira you are going to see lovely views and there are small villages in the mountains to be discovered. Fortunately the west of the island is mostly undisturbed nature where you can see beautiful old eucalyptus trees or experience the natural rock pools in Porto Moniz for a swimming experience in salt water.
