Our house is located on a green meadow in the middle of beech forestsDirectly at the Hainch NP (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its beautiful beech forests is our group house. Our only neighbor is the (high ropes) climbing forest! The next village (Kammerforst) is only 3 km away and besides hiking through the Hainich NP, you can go exploring in many directions from here. (West - Werratal with cycle path and canoe rental possibilities; North - historic town of Mühlhausen and Eichsfeld, South - Wartburg and start of Rennsteig, East - Bad Langensalza, Unstrut cycle path... Erfurt, Gotha,)There is an outdoor swimming pool about 15 km away in Hallungen and in Mühlhausen/ Bad Langensalza there are thermal baths, sauna... etc.

The Hainich National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its extensive beech forests. On beautifully laid out paths, you can still experience nature as it was almost everywhere in Europe a long time ago. In addition to natural wonders such as giant beech trees and ancient oaks, visitors can also experience unusual inhabitants such as elves and forest spirits. The wild cat village and treetop path are also not far away (that's where most of the tourists are) - but it's nice and quiet here and encounters take place almost exclusively with other inhabitants of the forest. We also have a campfire site and 3.5 hectares of meadow!
