Discover pure Portugal: a good book, lying in a hammock, the warm sun, a dip in the pool, in the background you can hear the bells hanging around the cows' necks and in the distance you can see the herd of goats approaching. The goatherd already raises his hand and calls his dogs to order. A bottle of Portuguese white wine is waiting in the wine cooler. After a fresh shower, you can join us for breakfast. Solar panels heat the water and our chickens provide a delicious egg. On the land are all kinds of trees, full of oranges, lemons, figs, apples and especially lots of olives. It is a wonderful place to unwind and yet the hustle and bustle is close by. We have on the Quinta 5 double apartments, each with its own bathroom, and a 4 person apartment consisting of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

A bed and breakfast in the middle of the Portuguese region of Alentejo. You will find us just outside the village of Vimieiro, a 1.5 hour drive from Lisbon. A place to completely unwind. But there are also main roads to several charming villages, the best wineries in the region and beautiful cultural cities like Evora and Estremoz. From the Quinta you can enjoy walking through the vast surroundings full of cork trees and olive trees. You will probably meet the local sheep/goat herder with his flock. A 20-minute drive away there are several lakes for a cooling dip.
