Your accommodation is one half of the enchanting nature house, set in 14,000m2 of private woodland, all for your enjoyment. It sleeps two people in a large double room, with kitchenette, lounge and large en-suite bathroom. You have your own private access via the gigantic, granite patio area and a large, three and a half metre wide plunge pool for your own use – a must for cooling off during the typical, long, hot days of summer. From the nature house the wonderful, rustic, hilltop town of Monchique is just a 10 minute drive away (five kilometres). Or you may choose to walk there (45 to 60 minutes) or cycle (20 to 30 minutes) along the countryside lanes and take in the never ending nature experience of this region.

This is a nature lover’s paradise, and a birdwatcher’s dreamland. Wild flowers abound as buzzards circle overhead, and the background sound of trickling water from your own stream entices the frogs to come out to play. Step out onto the covered terrace and take in the sights, sounds and scents of nature at its best. Here you are not close to nature…..you are actually in it. The views of the lush, green hills of the Monchique region will take your breath away; and the sound of almost constant birdsong will help you unwind during your break. Dine outside on the covered balcony, overlooking the forests and hills, and watch the stars appear into an unpolluted night sky as the birds continue to entertain with their joyous songs. “away from it all”.
