The Nature house was rebuilt in 2005 on the foundations of an old thatched roof. It has a modern and very well-equipped 32 m² eat-in kitchen with underfloor heating, and a cozy sitting area with satellite TV and WiFi. The large bathroom with shower and bathtub also has underfloor heating. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed, and upstairs a large bedroom with a queen-size bed (140 cm wide) and a children's room with a youth bed and a 140 cm crib. (A travel cot is also available if required.) There are illustrated books to browse through, a well-stocked information box with flyers and excursion tips and a selection of novels and children's books. Board games for guests of all ages and selected toys for the little ones. In the adjoining shed there is a sandpit, a barbecue and I am happy to provide bicycles if required. On the large property there are swings and paths for the little ones to explore and a large terrace and secluded spots for the grown-ups. There is the possibility to make a small campfire and plenty of space to run around. This house can also be booked for 2-3 people under 36301.

The Nature house is located 12 km from the North Sea between the Katinger Watt, a 1500-hectare bird sanctuary on the Wadden Sea, and the Mötjenpolder FFH area, an insider tip for ornithologists (see club 300.de). The Wollersum natural bathing area on the Eider is also a wonderful place to watch birds and cool off in summer. You can reach the Eider by bike in about 3km and with a bit of luck you might even spot a sea eagle on the tour. The 5000m² natural property, on which the "Spatzennest" is nestled between grain fields and meadows in the flat marshland, is home to an ingrown natural garden under large old willow trees. There is a small pasture where two of our Shropshire sheep graze in the summer, and there are hidden paths that can be explored by young and old. In the summer you can pick apples and blackberries, depending on the season, starting with May berries, currants and gooseberries and continuing into the fall. There is a small herb garden with plants for making tea and a few kitchen herbs.
