The house is centrally located on a private property of two hectares with a great diversity: meadow, stream, lawn, rocks, forest, ... We are near the village of Trémouille, small and cozy and for shopping you can go to Champs-sur-Tarentaine or Riom-es-Montagnes (both 15km) or the larger town of Bort-les-Orgues (25km). Unfortunately, the place is not accessible by public transport, but an elevator can be arranged to and from the Clermont-Ferrand train station.

The property is located in the Volcanoes Regional Natural Park (parc régional des volcans d'auvergne), an ideal environment for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts: hiking, trekking, water sports on nearby Lac de Lastioulles, mountain biking, rock climbing, trailrunning, paragliding,...This sparsely populated area has an amazing fauna and flora; birds of prey (the red kite, peregrine falcon, osprey, kestrel, snake eagle), deer, roe deer, wild boar, genets and badgers. The nearby (10 kilometers) Chaîne des Puys, which is home to two thousand species of flowers and plants, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018.
