This ruralhut is a large stone built watermill, full of character, renovated in a rustic style, set in a special river side setting. A wonderful place off grid rustic experience in a unique setting away from it all. Downstairs the large open plan kitchen and dining space is well equipped for up to 10 guests. There is a double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, and a shower room with toilet. Stairs lead up from kitchen into the middle of three bedrooms, from Which you access one double bedroom, one three or four single bedroom and the bathroom with bath, basin and toilet. Every room has special views of river, garden or countryside, and the double room at the front has a separate balcony and stone stairs to the garden. Knobs are simple and quirky, with many hand-made pieces. All bedding and bedlinen is oversupplied but you must bring your own towels. The ruralhut has an untouched, rural setting at the end of a 1 km rugged farm track.

The mill gives amazing access to the great outdoors. The Lanzo river runs down one side of the garden and is great for a cooling splash or swim. It is a place of natural tranquility, perfect for yoga and meditation or just relaxing. We are close to: the Val D'Orcia World Heritage area; Monte Amiata which offers summer mountain biking and rope courses. Frequently seen wildlife include: deer, wild boar, porcupine, tortoise, reptiles, fish; Birds zoals Hoo Poo, Bee Eaters, Heron, White Egrets, Nightingales, Golden Orioles. We are surrounded by woodland, olive groves and vineyards, How many followers through many tracks can be followed. The local beaches vary from the Alberese Nature Reserve to long, quiet sandy bays backed with pine woodland, to others with bars hidden in sand dunes and kite and wind surf hire. Petriolo sulfur springs is nearby along with the wealth of beautiful countryside south Tuscany sacrifices.
