Nature and surroundings
The nearby forests are characterized by the origin of the Sprengen, being excavations from which naturally filtered water flows from the underground (still). The water of the Heerderstrand is also filtered and originates from the Veluwe massif. In the northern direction, archaeological excavations were made in the hills at that time for settlements of the Clockbeaker people from thousands of years ago.
