This nature house is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, peace, a special place to stay and delicious food. Various walks can be made on site. In the area of ​​Castelnuovo there are red-white routes, long-distance footpaths and 15 signed walking routes. Cycling is popular in the area. From the terrain you can ride away on your ATB directly, with infinite routes. With a race bike you have to walk / drive three kilometers to the paved road first. In the house is an apartment (65 m²), on the first floor with private entrance. There is a double bedroom, a spacious living room with fireplace, TV and Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The view is endless. There is a pizza oven on the terrace, several seats on site including the very special place under the 700 year old oak where you can enjoy reading, eating and the view. Nature and surroundings

This historic site was built in the year 1100. It stands on a large rock with huge views in the middle of a forest. The two sources on the site, one of which has been built in Etruscan time, provide the ruralhut with drinking water. This also fills the swimming pool, which gives a nice cooling in the summer. The impressive oak of +/- 700 years old, with its enormous branches, offers delicious shade on the warm days with stunning views towards the Appennines. The old oak is located along the salt route, which was used to bring salt from the ocean to Siena using donkeys and horses. On the terrain one could sleep and in the old toll house that is still existing, pay their toll. Ancient ruins, gravetombs, rivers where you can cool in the water and make fires to bake bread. Every day there is a market where you can buy fresh products from the area. Of course, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena are worth a visit, each of which are reachable in 0.5 to 1.5 hours by car through the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
