This two-storey nature house overlooks the gentle rolling hills of Umbria, perfectly located between Orvieto, Todi and Perugia, perfectly located halfway between Rome and Florence and near the border with Tuscany. During the renovation, the owner has maintained the authenticity and rustic charm of the nature house. The owners live on the first floor. The ruralhut is a lovely apartment on the ground floor. It has a living room with wood burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen and a double room with private bathroom. The cottage can also be rented with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In that case, the price is higher (see extra costs). Directly at the nature house is a garden terrace with a beautiful view over olive trees and a green and wooded valley (460 meters). Five minutes away by car, another property of the owners can be found where the swimming pool can be used in the warm season. If you wish, the owners will advise you with tips for excursions, fine local restaurants, a wine and olive oil tasting or a horse riding tour at a local riding school and whatever is needed for a wonderful stay.

This nature house is an ideal place to take a breath, be lazy in the garden with a good book and bird sounds in the background. This is a fantastic area for hiking or mountain biking to explore the peaceful Umbrian countryside with its hilltops, valleys, wooded streams and waterfalls. The environment, far from any industrial influence, falls under the nature reserve "STINA", Monte Peglia and Selva di Meana, and will be a surprising discovery for nature lovers: if you are lucky you might encounter a wild boar, a pork pig, a deer, squirrels and foxes on a walk. Local residents seek mushrooms, asparagus or truffles. During the dark nights of June you will see thousands of fireflies everywhere. At night you only hear owls and night owls and really nothing else.
