Are you looking for peace and quiet and space? Then this is the ideal place! Pilard is a small 'domaine' with a fantastic view, situated on one hectare of land and has its own access road. Even the French find this place tres, tres calme. On the grounds are two houses: nature house 29729 (pilard 2) and the farm (pilard1). Although both houses are on the same property, they are completely detached from each other, each with its own terraces. The farmhouse is ONLY rented in combination with Pilard 2! On the ground floor is the kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs there is a large living room and 2 bedrooms. The barns of the complex are mostly still in their old condition and contain treasures from the past, including old hayrides. Having breakfast in front of the house in the morning, enjoying the sun in the afternoon and barbecuing in the evening; living like God in France really does exist! For children there is a swing, volleyball net and a swimming pool with fixed walls (3x2 m).

For lovers of peace and hiking, this is an ideal place. Nature lovers can take endless walks and bike rides or trips through the Sioule Valley. On the reservoir of Besserve des Fades and the crater lake "Gour de Tazenat" there are water sports possibilities. In the vicinity are several swimming places, including Etang Philippe in St. Gervais, the lake at St. Eloy-les-Mines and Lake Servant. There are also plenty of opportunities for an active vacation in the area: canoeing, horseback riding, hang gliding, paragliding, et cetera. In the immediate vicinity are four golf courses.The many Romanesque churches, the capital of Auvergne Clermont-Ferrand and the cities of Vichy, Montlucon, Riom, Moulin and Aubusson are at most one hour away, as well as the Auvergne National Park with its many volcanoes and the theme park Vulcania. The hike to the top of the Puy de Dome is highly recommended, as is the hike to St. Priest waterfall.
