Quick getaway together? Then meet this unusual holiday home: sleep in a 17th Century dovecote! Around the holiday home you have access to a huge, grassy garden of 1 hectare. Complete privacy! At the front of the house there is a terrace with garden furniture, a parasol and barbecue. The interior is simple but well maintained. On the first floor there is a seating area and a bathroom. On the second floor is a spacious bedroom, under a sloping roof. Staying in this holiday home is an unusual and unique experience. About the area. 1 km away you will find a fishing lake! In Gourdon (11 km) are the caves of Cougnac. Gourdon is a small but welcoming medieval town, with small streets, terraces and a market on Tuesdays (there is also a large supermarket). Through the rolling landscape and along small wooded roads you'll reach Rocamadour (50 km), an old pilgrim's shrine, that is built against the rocks. From the fortress you have a wonderful view of the valley. Take the 223 steps down (or take the elevator) and decent 120 metres into the tourist town with tiny streets, lovely shops and the Musée d'Art Sacre Francis-Poulenc, which has a real treasure room!
