The nature house stands at the end of a private cul-de-sac. The peace and quiet here is comparable to the time when there were almost no cars on the road in the Netherlands. Within half an hour's drive nature is completely different and the landscape changes from hills to rugged mountains. The landlords can reserve for you a canoe at one of the most beautiful spots, even suitable for small children (but with swimming certificate). Smoking is not allowed in the cottage.

From the cottage you are within a 25-minute drive of the supermarkets in Cahors and Causade. In the morning you can quickly get a loaf of bread from the bakery, which is within 10 minutes in the nearest village of Montpazat De Quercy. The city of Toulouse is about an hour's drive.The area lends itself well to beautiful canoe trips, for example on the river Aveyron, suitable for young and old. A breathtaking trip of several hours, but you can also take the whole day and occasionally picnic or take a dip in the clear water along the way.Cahors is the capital of the Lot department. The city lies in a meander of the Lot River and is almost completely surrounded by water. The city is best known as the center of the famous AOC Cahors wine and as a tourist attraction. The Cathédrale Saint-Étienne, la Chantrerie, Musée du Vin, now an exhibition space; église Saint-Barthélémy, the Pont Valentré, Museum Henri Martin are worth a visit. The village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie is perched on a cliff 100 meters above the river and is one of the most beautiful places in the Lot. And how about the caves of Padirac: a natural cavity in the ground 75 meters deep and 33 meters in diameter. After a 500-meter descent and walk, you reach an underground river.
