This idyllic ruralhut is nestled in the Vallée Cère et Dordogne. It is one of the buildings of an original Quercy farm, which has been restored authentically. On the ground floor you will find a cosy kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen opens onto a terrace facing east to enjoy the morning sun and onto a covered terrace to the west, the place to be at sunset. You have direct access to the woods and gardens. The kitchen includes an electric hob, fridge / freezer, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink and a washing machine. On the first floor is a spacious living room with a large double bed box and a good mattrass. There is a cosy sitting area, a table with chairs, a book and game cupboard and an audio system. A staircase takes you to a mezzanine, where are two single beds. Ideal for two grown ups and eventually two children. The cottage is tastefully decorated and reflects the artist's hands of the owners.

Nature and surroundings

The main words are "quiet", "beauty" and "nature". The farm is secluded from the world by a winding forest road and is situated on an open southern mountain peninsula with views on opposite woods, meadows and villages. The owners spend much time on the construction and maintenance of gardens with flowers, vegetables, fruit, sculptures and two ponds, reflecting the sky, which makes the direct surrounding like a fairy tale. On your hiking tours you will find many picturesque villages in a beautiful landscape, medieval castles and ancient Roman churches. There are endless opportunities for natural and cultural excursions; swimming, kayaking, climbing and playing golf, cave visit, week and flea markets, terraces and so forth. Lots of "Les plus beaux villages" are nearby; Rocamadour, Carrenac, Colonge la Rouge, Autoir and Loubressac.
