Tenuta di Capocontro is an ancient hamlet. It is in the heart of the green Tuscan hills, surrounded by woods and olive trees. The hamlet is 550 metres above sea level and a few kilometres from the town of Civitella in Val de Chiana. It has a farm, an old mill, a small church and some rustic houses and stables. The main part of the hamlet was built in the Middle Ages. There are 250 hectares of land around the hamlet and 80 km of walking paths. Tenuta di Capocontro produces wine and olive oil. It is the perfect place to enjoy the Tuscan landscape. You can also relax by the swimming pool. Five houses have been converted into guest accommodations. Each house has a private terrace. The swimming pool is for shared use. The houses are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. You can enjoy interesting day trips to Perugia, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Lake Trasimee. The friendly owners live in the main building of the hamlet.
