You can enjoy delightful walks through the nearby woods where you can go on montain bikes.The Erbeskopf (biggest hill in Hunsrück 816m with a platform on top) is 10 km away. You can enjoy skiing and cross-country skiing here when snow conditions are good. The famous Moselle, with its splendid mountain vineyards, is only 20 km away. Visits to Bernkastel Kues (Burg Landshut), Traben-Trabach and Trier (Porta Nigra), Idar-Oberstein (Felsenkirche) are highly recommended. Best recovery and relaxation from the daily stress.
