Between the bocage of the Achterhoek, you'll find this beautiful farmhouse near the village of Baak. The house has its own entrance and a fantastic large private garden, with a beautiful view of the meadows and the nearby forests. From the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful weather and the surrounding nature. Inside, there's plenty of room to relax. The house is well insulated, which makes it nice and cool in the summer and warm during the winter. Near the house, there's a covered bike shed with a charging point for 4 electric bikes. The forested surroundings are beautiful during any season. There are beautiful farms in the area, alternated by forests, fields and meadows. The famous bocage of the Achterhoek, Gelderland, invites you go on beautiful walks and cycling tours. National Park Veluwezoom with its beautiful nature can also easily be reached from here. There's a pancake restaurant in the middle of the park, where you can have a nice cup of coffee or try one of the pancakes. The Eight Castles rRoute is a cycling route, leading you along eight castles in the varied landscape, in the area of Vorden and passing close to the holiday home. Bronkhorst (5 km) is called the smallest city of the Netherlands; it features many restored farmhouses which are now a gallery, shop or restaurant. The Hanseatic cities of Doesburg, Zutphen or Deventer are relatively close and are recommended to visit. Looking for possibilities for a day trip? Think about Museum More in the castle of in het kasteel Ruurlo, the mustard factory in Doesburg or the Gildehof. In short, this is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
