De Hooge Veluwe National Park

In the park, the possibilities are almost unlimited. So take a white bike or put on your walking shoes, because there is a lot to discover in the park. If you want to go on a bike tour in the park, there are almost 40 km of bike paths available. On the way you will pass all types of landscape in the park, including deciduous, coniferous and mixed forests, over wet and dry heather fields and through drifting sand landscapes. The park can be explored in different ways. Some people set out on the run and see where they get along on the way, others prefer to follow a stake trail, which is marked by colored stakes. There are also long distance routes and themed walks. You can take your dog to the park. However, your four-legged friend must always be on a leash and may not be taken into the museums, Jachthuis Sint Hubertus or the visitor center. Climate

Holland has a maritime climate with low temperatures in summer and warm winters. In the summer months, the maximum average temperature reaches 20°C, and in the winter -0°C. If we talk about deep-water rivers passing through the country, then in the southern direction from them the temperature is slightly higher than in the north, and in the coastal areas there are slightly more sunny days when compared with the central regions.
