Alghero is a deep cave with a large seawater lake inside, as well as all kinds of geological forms. The experience is out of this world and is also possible to do by boat from the nearby port.

Another interesting attraction are the mysterious ancient structures Nuraghe. They can be found all over the island, however the most popular place to visit is the Su Nuraxi, located in the Barumini archaeological site. Barumini is considered as one of the greatest symbols of ancient civilization on the island. Supramonte Mountain is one of the ranges on Sardinia; it is also the place where you will find Italy’s Grand Canyon. Gola di Gorropu is almost two kilometers wide and descends the remarkable 500 m down the mountain. Huge boulders make up one of the best hiking trails on the island, according to professionals. The region is also a popular destination for rafting on the turbulent rivers.
