Enjoy the wonderful nature of Småland in the former railroad station. Sinnerskog House is situated in a secluded location in the middle of the forest. It is a former railroad station building with many historical details. There are two apartments in the house, both on the first floor. One apartment is offered here as a vacation home. I use the other apartment privately, which is about 46m² in size. There is a large double bed in the bedroom. There is a day bed (firm slatted frames and good mattresses) for one or two more guests in the cosy kitchen/living room. The former railroad station was closed down in 1964. The tracks were removed, but you can still take a wonderful walk through the forest on the old railroad embankment. The building was completely renovated in 2021/2022 and lovingly furnished. You will find extensive equipment.

Sinnerskog is located in the heart of Småland in southern Sweden. The landscape is characterized by numerous lakes and lots of forest. The nearest swimming and fishing lake is 1.5 km away. 3 adult-sized bicycles can be used. A SUP and an inflatable kayak for 2 people are also available. Shopping facilities are available in the village of Högsby (13 km). The cozy harbor town of Oskarshamn is 40 km away and invites you to take a stroll or enjoy a fika (Swedish coffee break) with a sea view. The ferry to the enchanting island of Gotland also departs from here. The birthplace of Astrid Lindgren, Vimmerby, and the filming locations of Bullerbü and Michel from Lönneberga can be reached in about an hour. Above all, however, the location of the house impresses with its tranquillity and the beautiful nature all around.
